About Natasha

Natasha Edwards is the Co-Founder, Artistic Director, and Curator of the SWELL Sculpture Festival, with an impressive 21-year journey. Under her visionary leadership, SWELL has evolved into a cultural cornerstone, boosting the city's arts and tourist economy. It's become renowned for uniting local, national, and international artists in Queensland’s largest free outdoor public art and sculpture exhibition.

Natasha's enduring commitment to fostering creativity has empowered artists from diverse backgrounds. She's played a pivotal role in nurturing sustainable careers and promoting inclusion. Her efforts extend to encouraging diverse intergenerational audiences to immerse themselves in public art, connecting People Art and Place.
