| The Burleigh Heads Rotary Charity Duck Race has officiall launched at the RSL Reserve Currumbin on the 4th September, with support from Daragh Murphy Currumbin RSL CEO and Leon Rebello Burleigh Heads Rotary Membership Director. |

| The Charity Duck race is a community event aimed at raising funds for local domestic violence agencies, who provide critical services to victims of domestic and family violence on the Gold Coast. Currumbin RSL have sponsored ducks 001 & 002 in the charity race and Daragh has issued a challenge to local businesses to join the Currumbin RSL in sponsoring a duck. |

| Why should you participate? - Support a Worthy Cause: Last year’s event at Tallebudgera Creek attracted several hundred spectators and raised over $25,000 for the selected charities. This years' event outside the Currumbin RSL is sure to attract even larger community support and with your help increase the amount raised.
