Small Business Month has started for 2025

Queensland has more than 482,000 small businesses who contribute significantly to the economy. In the month of May these contributors are celebrated across Queensland.

We want to show our appreciation for the hard-working small business owners out there in the Southern Gold Coast. Small business ownership comes with a range of challenges and small businesses need our support. The Chamber of Commerce is proud to represent and support small businesses where we can.

Small business owners can find support and information through a range of resources, not least of which is the Queensland Small Business Commission’s office. The Commissioner, Dominique Lamb, met with the Chamber earlier this year to listen to the concerns from some of our members.
