Veterans Organic Garden Fundraising Concert
The Veterans Organic Garden Board of Directors will be hosting a spectacular event, Orchestra on the Mountain, on Sunday 14 July, to raise money to assist veterans to build a very basic shelter where veterans can stay overnight in the Veterans Organic Garden.
The Veterans Organic Garden was created on 2 acres of the Freeman family farm in 2021. It became a safe place for veterans to come and heal in nature and participate in organic gardening, which is not only therapeutic but where they can grow their own nutrient dense organic food to feed themselves, and improve their gut health and in turn improve their mental health.
