I’m pleased to share that 10 local businesses across Coolangatta will benefit from new security upgrades through the latest round of the Crisafulli Government’s Secure Communities Partnership Program.

The Crisafulli Government and City of Gold Coast are investing in two permanent CCTV cameras at Roughton Park, along with upgraded CCTV infrastructure at Giltrap Park. These upgrades will strengthen network reliability and provide continuous, high-quality coverage throughout the Kirra Beach small business precinct.

This investment will help deter crime and create safer environments for businesses, staff and customers.

Delivered through a 50–50 funding partnership between the Crisafulli Government and the City of Gold Coast, this project reflects our commitment to supporting local businesses, improving community safety and creating places where businesses can grow and thrive.
