February Breakfast Meeting

After our annual summer break, we wish to invite all chamber members, guests and visitors to attend our first breakfast meeting this year on Thursday the 3rd of February 2011 at the Currumbin RSL (Currumbin Creek Road) from 7am to 8.30am.

Special Guest Speaker is Jann Stuckey State MP for Currumbin and the new Shadow Minister for Shadow Minister for Small Business & Job Creation, Industrial Relations, Fair Trading &
Shadow Minister for Women.

Jann has been a long time member of our Chamber for many years, and she will share with you her vision for her new senior portfolios for the State Opposition.

Jann will also be seeking feedback from members attending the breakfast on your thoughts and needs in small Business, IR, Fair Trading and Women.

Also, this month we will also be conducting a “Soap – Box” session after our guest speaker. For those that haven’t attended a “Soap-box” session, it is a fantastic opportunity for any business / person to address the attendees to introduce your business and / or products and services, and even offer attendees any special promotions. So, get prepared and bring along with you some material or handouts if you wish also. (Each attendee will be given the opportunity to speak between 2-5 minutes depending on the number wishing to speak on the morning).
