We invite all current members to think about nominating for a position on the executive or general committee to assist our Chamber become again, one of the strongest Chamber’s on the Gold Coast. As per our constitution, all positions become vacant, and we encourage you to assist in what is realistically around 4 hours per month in volunteering to help your local business community.

Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Bid Team

Tamara comes from an extensive background in PR, marketing and events and was working on a variety of projects in her own PR company but the opportunity to be a part of a potentially ‘life changing’ project for the Gold Coast was too exciting and Tamara commenced her role with the Gold Coast 2018 Bid team in early December last year.

Together with her team she aims to ensure as many people as possible understand the benefits the Commonwealth Games will bring to the city and will urge us all to ‘Get Behind the Bid’!

The Games Bid team is working hard to create a winning bid which will share the story of how the Gold Coast is the destination capital of Australia and how we want to share our great city with the world.
