Project Update
Coolangatta / Kirra Core Business Masterplan
The City is currently undertaking a Place based Master Plan over Coolangatta and Kirra business centres. Through well engaged place making, thorough analysis and urban design, opportunities are sought to improve the street environment and public spaces of these centres.
We are fortunate to be able to bring to you a breakfast where you will updated on the progress of this project by Patrick Duigan, a City Place Making Officer from the City of Gold Coast, including site analysis completed and feedback from stakeholders who have attended recent workshops, as well as having Councillor (Cr) Gail O’Neill assist in the running of the morning breakfast.
Councillor (Cr) Gail O’Neill is Councillor for Division 14, a Board Member of Connecting Southern Gold Coast and is a Committee Member of the Southern Gateway Advisory Committee. Cr O’Neill is also a member several Council Committees and is passionate about balancing progress and lifestyle in Southern Gold Coast. |
Patrick Duigan is the Executive Coordinator City Place Making at the City of Gold Coast and leads a strong team focussed on regenerating out-dated business centres across the Gold Coast, using place making strategies, architectural design and urban design principles.
