The Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the 2026 Masterclass Series, a collaborative offering in conjunction with Southern Cross University, designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of our members. This series aims to address the key challenges faced by businesses today and provide practical solutions through expert-led sessions.
Program Overview:
There will be 4 sessions held on campus at Southern Cross University, with networking opportunities at the start of each session to foster connections among participants.
These free sessions are open to all Chamber members and their teams and will be delivered on campus at SCU, with time built in for connection and shared learning.

Smart Moves in Tough Times: Strategies for Stability Amid Economic Change
Dr Leeanne Hodgson is a Teaching Associate with Southern Cross University. She has over 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant/Financial Planner working in Business Advising, Finance Management, and Business Consultancy in Australia and overseas. Leeanne ran her own Financial Planning business for over 10 years and has owned a Master Franchise/Franchise family business for 20 years. Leeanne has spent over 12 years lecturing and has been involved in curriculum design in Financial Planning, Accounting, Business and Revenue Law at Griffith University, QUT, CQU, SCU and Western Sydney University. Leeanne has also spent over 20 years facilitating the Chartered Accountant Programme for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand across all subjects, as well as conducting Corporate training in Accounting/Auditing, Business/Finance Management, and Ethics.
