Gold Coast Hospital Foundation Giving Day - 24th May
The Giving Day is an opportunity for our community to come together and support our hospital and amazing healthcare staff to provide exceptional healthcare services to those in need. They are seeking to fund critical projects, equipment and programs that will benefit our patients and their families. Your support of this very special day will make a significant impact in providing the best possible care to their patients.
Fundraising allows ordinary people to change the world! Together we can change the world for the sickest adults and children on the Gold Coast.
We are excited to announce that our upcoming Giving Day will be taking place on Wednesday 24th of May at the Gold Coast University Hospital and we are inviting you to help us to exceed our huge target of $200,000. We are so thrilled to have the support of 102.9FM Hot Tomato as our media partner. The Hot Tomato team will be broadcasting from our Giving Day headquarters for the entire 12 hours!
Match Giving Donation
We would like to extend an invitation to partner with us for this Giving Day. You can support us by pre-pledging a donation (minimum of $1000) which will be used to match our community donations and inspire others to give a little more on the day towards our biggest fundraising campaign of the year. You will be able to watch your donation in action as the funds rise on the day. We will be acknowledging our amazing match givers through the following channels:
• GCHF Website
• Your logo on the Giving Day landing page
• Social media
• Giving Day EDMs
• Signage – you can bring your pop-up banners
• Gold Coast Health public facing digital screens
PLUS the extra opportunity to be promoted throughout the day by Hot Tomato and their on air announcers and your donation is tax deductible.
Volunteer on the day
We are also looking for volunteers to join us at the Gold Coast University Hospital Headquarters to hit the phones on the day and help us reach our fundraising goal. We will be located near the front entrance of GCUH and in direct view of the walkways from the carpark. Shifts are only two hours and provide a wonderful engagement activity for our supporters. Shifts are 8.30 – 11am, 10.30 – 12.30pm, 1.30 – 3.30pm, 3 – 5pm, 4.30 – 6.30pm and 6 – 8pm. The Hot Tomato team will also be joining us on the phones.
