Iconic Sanctuary Markets to open on the first friday of winter
On Friday 5th June, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary welcomes back the locals with the return of the iconic Sanctuary markets.
After closure earlier in the year due to COVID-19 restrictions, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and the Markets Down Under team are looking forwards to welcoming locals back to indulge in their dearly missed favourites. The team have been working together to ensure guests' safety and the safety of their food vendors/service team is a top priority. Though the iconic Friday markets are returning, it's not without its change: including sanitising stations, social distancing and limited vendors. Though the Sanctuary Market team assures locals "the food is still mouth-watering and of the amazing quality that has been so popular.
The Sanctuary Markets are located at the Village Green on the corner of Tomewin & Teemangum Street with FREE parking available opposite the Sanctuary. Gates open from 3.30pm to 7.00pm so local families can make the most of the first Friday of Winter.
The markets will be open for takeaway's only and numbers will be limited inline with government restrictions.
