Located within the Currumbin industrial estate on Currumbin Creek Road in the Southern Gold Coast, Sumptuous Fine Food works to deliver some of the best catering on the coast. Chef Leesa also prepares breakfast and lunch 7 days a week until 6pm most days and 7.30 pm on Fridays. This dedicated chef further offers menus set to the individual and cooking lessons for those looking to refine their skills in the kitchen. Chef Leesa has over 30 years experience as a chef apprenticing in Japanese kitchens both in Australia and in Japan. Leesa’s food is extensive - from Asian cuisines to the fusions of Modern Australian and Bush Tucker.
On top of managing this impressive local business, Chef Leesa is now faced with interpeting the always changing rules surrounding COVID-19. Leesa says that navigating these constant changes creates a new challenge for both her business and her staff, an issue shared by many businesses across the state. Leesa says, however, this hasnt detered her from continuing to deliver fine food, in fact Chef Leesa says this is the perfect time to achieve a standard. When faced with any challenge, Leesa says she focuses on the benefits and uses it as a chance to get the most from her business.
