New dining precinct now open at Currumbin RSL
Currumbin RSL said a fond farewell to Award Winning Alleys Restaurant in September 2019 as Stage 1A of their renovations commenced. After three months of anticipation, Stage 1A of the face-lift has been completed and Currumbin RSL are very excited to announce that they have a brand new, modern dining precinct.
Featuring crazy paving, funky wall paper and tiles as well as bi-fold doors opening out to Currumbin Creek, the goal was to bring to outdoors inside and create a bright new vibe.
Currumbin RSL CEO, Anne Stovin says, “The aim was to create a light and bright space which is welcoming to all while serving a wide variety of wholesome, delicious. I would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and patience during these renovations and I certainly hope you like the results.”
With the new casual atmosphere, a new menu has been launched and tastes just as good as the new space looks. They have their very own Chippery – especially for lovers of fries where they’ll load up their favourite potato fries or wedges, which come in two varieties - sweet potato and cassava. For the meat lovers, new menu items include sticky spicy barbeque chicken wings for those who like it hot and honey soy chicken wings for those who like a little less ‘kapow’! If you’re a part of the parmie army, there’s five types of parmies to choose from.
Vegans can rejoice because there’s plenty of vegan friendly dishes to choose from: fried Mediterranean spiced cauliflower florets, vegan fries, vegan ‘chicken’ scallopini, a vegan burger, nourish grazing bowl and a lip-smacking coconut chia pudding for dessert.
They haven’t forgotten their gluten free friends, with plenty of gluten friendly options to choose from including pan seared barramundi, cassava wedges and most desserts are gluten friendly too.
Alleys Restaurant fans will also be please as the most popular Alleys dishes have been included in the new menu. Mouth-watering Nolan’s Private Selection rump, twice cooked pork belly, tandoori chicken and delicious Alleys desserts: house made sticky date pudding, white chocolate crème brulee and drunken affogato.
Lunch is served from 11:30am until 2:30pm and dinner is available from 5pm. There is also an All Day menu if you need some nourishment outside the lunch and dinner hours from 10am until about 8:30pm.
