PBC re-opens to record attendence
Where the usual student groans at the idea of another day at school, PBC is recording record attendances in their first week back.
PBC is proud to be welcoming student back and for the first-time students are glad to be back. Where the usual student groans at the idea of another day at school, PBC is recording record attendances in their first week welcoming back senior students. The path to this moment wasn't easy, however, with the school employing additional cleaners and a stronger cleaning regime, a reshape of every classroom and a dedicated focus on a single source of communication so as to avoid confusion in this critical time.
Lockdown doesn't mean a chance to put your feet up for executive school Principal Chris Capra, who spent this time tirelessly working to ensure the success of his student body. As students moved from the classroom to an online platform, Principal Capra was faced with the roll-out of a professional development and re-skilling program which is estimated to take around 12 months to prepare and roll-out but was completed in just 7 days.
Palm Beach Currumbin State High School has welcomed back senior students since May 11th and looks forward to welcoming 7s to 10s after the 25th of March or unless reviewed prior. Principal Capra believes that socially and emotionally, it is important for students' well-being that they come back to school.
