SBF Member Update from the QSBC - New program guides + templates
At the 2023 Small Business Friendly Annual Conference in late April, some changes were announced for the Queensland Small Business Commissioner’s Small Business Friendly (SBF) Program.

Based on a review and feedback from some of our members, we are pleased to share this update with you: - A new Member Information Pack which explains what we would like new and existing members to do
- A new awards program in 2024 that will recognise excellence by members in being more small business friendly
- An Accelerator which will help boost your program of small business friendly activities
- A new SBF logo and simple brand how-to guide.
Small Business Friendly Program Information Pack
The Small Business Friendly Program Information Packincludes an overview of the SBF Program, benefits, and member requirements. This pack is supported by the Accelerator.
Awards
We are excited to be developing a new awards program for 2024, with the below categories: - Member of the Year
- Regional Member of the Year
- Innovator of the Year.
Accelerator
The Accelerator builds on this SBF existing document: The Five-Step Approach to Being Small Business Friendly and will help you plan new activities and support the work that you are probably already doing.
Small Business Friendly Brand Application
We have created a member's guide to the SBF brand that provides a simple overview of how you can use the new SBF logo with ease.
