Hundreds of representatives across a variety of organisations attended where Mayor Tom Tate and the Disaster Management Coordinators spoke highly of all the agencies that pitched in and helped the Gold Coast recover. Some interesting statistics are: - So far there has been 77,000 truck loads of green waste delivered to council green waste stations and still going!
- 50,000 tons of debris of all kinds has be sent to the tip!
- 875 power lines came down in the Christmas storm that had to be repaired!
