The Star Gold Coast’s inaugural charity fundraiser lunch, Help Yourself to Help Others, aimed at raising funds and awareness for three vital Gold Coast charities.
To be held on Thursday 12 March 2020 with special guest Australian former world surfing champion Joel Parkinson.
Three charities will benefit including the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation – which continues to help injured wildlife from the recent Queensland bushfires – along with Cancer Council Queensland and Gold Coast Hospital Foundation. These charities important role in caring for our community with all profits raised from this event going directly to these three charities.
To be proudly emceed by Nova 106.9FM Brisbane breakfast presenter David ‘Luttsy’ Lutteral, come along and hear Joel Parkinson share his personal connection to the local community from growing up on the Gold Coast beaches to becoming world surfing champion; the outstanding work each charity is delivering through an insightful panel discussion with representatives from each organisation; plus purchase raffle tickets to win some incredible prizes through the charities’ exciting fundraising raffle draw – all the while helping yourself to a spectacular seafood buffet featuring Australia’s best local produce.
