Pacific Motorway (M1) Varsity Lakes to Tugun upgrade Project update
Signs will soon be installed on the northern side of Tallebudgera Creek regarding the informal boat ramp on the southern side of Tallebudgera Creek's closure, however, contractors for Package B (Burleigh to Palm Beach) have since confirmed that access to the informal boat ramp may possibly remain open over the Christmas period.
🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT 🚧 - Bilinga
There will be a temporary half road closure of Lang Street (between Golden Four Drive and Pacific Parade) Coolangatta for a large concrete pour. The closure will be in place next Wednesday 2 December (Contingency dates: 3/12 to 4/12) for one day from 6.30am to 6.30pm (weather permitting).Â
Emergency and Local traffic access will be maintained.
Timed parking - Bilinga
In response to resident concerns and requests over a long period of time regarding overflow parking for GC Airport, Council has resolved the following;
1. That within eight weeks of Council adopting these recommendations time limited kerbside parking will be implemented in the below locations:
- Dulkara Avenue (4P)
- Wanda Avenue (4P)
- Adina Avenue (between Dulkara Avenue and Wanda Avenue)
- Â 4P - eastern side of the street adjacent to residential properties
- 8P - western side of the street adjacent to Gold Coast Airport
2. That planning, consultation and implementation of broader time limited parking changes for the area will be undertaken during the next Traffic Area and Parking Permit Scheme review.
🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT 🚧 - Coolangatta
There will be a temporary closure of the eastbound lane with detour of Boundary Street (between Ward Street and Hill Street) Coolangatta, to facilitate road repairs.Â
The closure will be in place next Monday 30 November to Monday 7 December from 6.30am to 6.30pm (weather permitting). Local traffic access will be maintained.
