🚧TRAFFIC ALERTS🚧

There will be a temporary full road closure of Pacific Parade (between Archer Street and Johnston Street) Bilinga for crane dismantle. Local traffic access will be maintained. The closure will be in place next Wednesday 19 August (contingency dates: 20-21 August) for one day from 6.30am to 6.30pm (weather permitting).

As part of ongoing maintenance and renewal of our drainage network, the City will be repairing its citywide stormwater infrastructure. Affected locations within Division 14 include Currumbin Waters.

This program of works will commence start August 2020 and continue for 6 months. Construction works will require approximately one or two days at each site. The works include relining the internal surface of the host pipe through access manholes or pits that may be located in the road corridor or in easements within private property. The City will communicate with impacted residents as the works are scheduled and will be working to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum.

Locals may experience temporary traffic disruptions and minor construction noise at times. Traffic controls will be in place (when required) and local access will be maintained.

🚍TRAVEL ALERT: ROUTE 700, 760 and 768 SERVICE UPDATE

From 1am Saturday 8 August until further notice, routes 700, 760 and 768 cross-border bus services will now begin and terminate at Griffith Street at Coolangatta East, Coolangatta due to the Queensland border closure. School services are unaffected by these changes and will continue to service their usual stops.
