Water Service Announcement
Local Coolangatta/Kirra residents - a planned water shutdown is scheduled between 10pm Wednesday 9 September and 5am Thursday 10 September for new water connection (weather permitting). Streets affected include Musgrave Street & Lord Street, Coolangatta.
Local Tugun residents - a planned water shutdown is scheduled between 9am and 2pm on Tuesday 8 September for new water connection (weather permitting). Streets affected include Golden Four Drive and Sand Street.

Tugun Bypass Tunnel | Night Works
Transport for NSW advises night works at Tugun Bypass Tunnel will take place on Tuesday 8 September and Wednesday 9 September. Travellers are advised to allow for an additional 10 minutes travel time.
TRAFFIC ALERT
There will be a temporary full road closure of Boundary Street (between Ward Street and Tweed Terrace) Coolangatta for the reconstruction of pavement and construction of new water main. Local traffic access will be maintained.
The closure will be in place commencing Monday 31 August to 1 December 2020 from 6.30am to 6.30pm (weather permitting).
Pressure Cleaning | Coolangatta
The City will be pressure cleaning the footpaths in Coolangatta (Marine Parade and Griffith Street) commencing next Thursday 3 September with works to be completed by Friday 11 September (weather permitting).
Renewed infrastructure
Construction coming along on 2 important infrastructure projects on Tugun foreshore. Replacement of sea walls from Kropp Park to Wagawn Street & extension of Amenity block to include a Disable Friendly change room.
