Currumbin Point - path and carpark upgrade

Cost: $1.9 million
To minimise impacts to residents, beach goers and road users, this project will be delivered in stages and will take place out of peak visitor and community event timeframes.
Gold Coast Oceanway - Tugun to Bilinga lighting upgrade
Commencing: April 2020
Completion: unknown
The upgrade will involve removing the existing solar bollard lighting and replacing it with 6.2 metre pole lighting (inclusive of a combined LED luminaire and solar panel). Lights will dim outside of peak hours (from 9pm) according to usage and shields will focus the light onto the pathway and away from residential buildings.
Bilinga – Golden Four Drive – Road reconstruction
Commencing: February 2020
Completion: June 2020
Cost: $2.7 million
During construction there'll be temporary changes to traffic conditions along Golden Four Drive. Local residents and businesses may be impacted by road closures and traffic detours, limited access, construction noise and dust.
Elanora - Guineas Creek Road retaining wall
Commencing: January 2021
Completion: April 2021
Cost: $1,250,000
To ensure these works are able to be carried out safely, the Guineas Creek Road will have traffic management and speed reductions for the works duration. Two lanes will be maintained.
Coolangatta - Boundary Street, Ward Street and Petrie Street - road reconstruction

Completion: December 2020
