Your Business, Your Energy Survey
Gold Coast businesses are continuing to feel the pressure of rising energy costs, reliability challenges, and the rapid transition to new technologies. To ensure their voices are clearly heard and directly reflected in future planning, we are seeking your support.
RDA Gold Coast has taken the lead in initiating the Your Business, Your Energy Survey, in partnership with Energex and Ergon Energy Network. This is a coordinated Gold Coast focused initiative designed to capture real-time insights from local businesses and translate them into practical action for our region.
The survey will produce a dedicated Gold Coast report, providing a clear evidence base on business energy needs, challenges, and opportunities. These insights will directly inform energy providers, policymakers, and local stakeholders to help shape more responsive and effective solutions for our region.
The insights will directly inform:
- The needs of Gold Coast businesses to remain productive and competitive
- The real impact of outages, reliability issues, and supply constraints
- Opportunities to improve pricing, tariffs, and support mechanisms
- Business readiness for solar, battery storage, EVs, and emerging technologies
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, is open to all Gold Coast businesses, and closes at 5:00pm, Friday 15 May 2026.
