Two Great Opportunities for the Price of One - Don’t Miss the July 2014 Breakfast!

Following the very popular format of the April Creek to Creek Breakfast where everyone present had a few minutes to talk their business up, we’re pleased to announce that the July Breakfast will give you another great opportunity to talk your talk in a bid to sell your businesses to our businesses! Each person will get 2 minutes, which is longer than you think, to showcase the best of your best. You can also take this chance to bring along marketing materials etc for distribution to the room.

We will also have a great speaker, Prof. Elizabeth Roberts, from Southern Cross University here on the Gold Coast,  who will let us all know how we can enjoy the services of a quality University intern for one of those projects where you say “if only I had a someone qualified to help for a while on a project to ….”

Elizabeth is a champion for ensuring that the University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management have sufficient placements for their bright new stars. There are many areas which can be covered including conferences, events, sport management, finance and accounting, human resources, hotels and resorts, marketing, tourism planning and research. Elizabeth Roberts Bio

Professor Elizabeth Roberts is the Head of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Southern Cross University.  In this role, she oversees the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate tourism and hospitality management programs on four campuses:  Gold Coast, The Sydney Hotel School (THSS),  Lismore, and Coffs Harbour.  She holds a PhD in Classical Rhetoric and Composition from Purdue University in the USA; her thesis was based on a three year study with Hospitality Valuation Services (HVS) based in New York City. Elizabeth has worked in the hospitality industry since she was 14 and has gained extensive international academic and consulting experience over the past 30 years.
