The state budget was released this week. Here is an overview of the key information that affects QLD business:

• It's a budget focused on jobs growth, skills and training.

• Regional QLD have received smart infrastructure spending on water security, resource recovery and energy investments.

• Overall, this budget is a step in the right direction to help shape a more modern economy that’s diversified, resilient and sustainable.

• However, economic recovery is a marathon, and we need funding to go the distance. In particular, there are missed opportunities to support ongoing small business COVID-19 recovery.
