First Look at Gold Coast Airport Expansion
The first look at the new Gold Coast Airport terminal has been revealed, with construction now underway on the southern terminal expansion.
As well as development of a new Rydges airport hotel, a new double-storey southern terminal is under construction with a virtual reality flythrough showing a new arrival experience, including aerobridges, duty free retail space and a landscaped forecourt area within steps of the new hotel.
Queensland Airports Limited CEO Chris Mills said the projects, which are worth around $500 million, would generate 1,500 jobs from the construction alone.
