A great opportunity for the community to come together to support each other, raise awareness to those veterans who have lost their lives from the battle within, break the silence on mental illness and contribute to the funding of programs that are making a difference to veterans.

After a successful two years of hosting the Walk4Remembrance, it’s back for 2023.

This is a great opportunity for the community to come together to support each other, raise awareness to those veterans who have lost their lives from the battle within, break the silence on mental illness and contribute to the funding of programs that are making a difference to veterans.

The 8km walk this year has slightly changed, the walk will commence from Currumbin RSL Reserve out by the creek with the halfway turning point being at Tugun Surf Life Saving Club.

There will be 2 waves; 8am and 8:15am. You will choose this upon registration.

All funds raised will be donated to the Veterans’ Support Centre so that they can continue to provide quality support and services to veterans. The program offers social, educational and employment opportunities for veterans.

Costs involved:

$30 per adult (free t-shirt)
$12 per child (free t-shirt)
Under 4 – FREE (no t-shirt)
