Nominations closing soon for the 2020 Queensland Training Awards

Nominate today for the Queensland Training Awards Small Employer of the Year!

The most prestigious and longest running training sector awards program in the state, the Queensland Training Awards provides individuals and organisations with a unique opportunity to showcase their achievements and demonstrate best practice and innovation in training.

The awards not only highlight the value of vocational education and training (VET), but also open doors for winners and finalists.

It’s not too late to recognise the valuable contribution you and your colleagues make, with categories for training providers and employers, apprentices, trainees, vocational students and teachers and trainers.

Celebrate your business’ commitment to providing quality vocational education and training (VET) opportunities to your staff, and the valuable contribution your business makes to skilling Queensland’s workforce.

There are many benefits to nominating for the awards, from critically analysing your training processes; benchmarking your activity with industry best practice; identifying success factors and areas for improvement; receiving peer recognition; and being regarded as an employer of choice.

Picture above is Michael Kennedy from Kennedy's Timbers, the 2019 Small Employer of the Year, knows first-hand the value in nominating.

"Winning at the state awards, along with being a finalist for nationals, has invigorated the team to appreciate what we are doing ...and how we can continue to improve."

Nominations close at midnight Tuesday 31 March 2020.
Make sure you review the criteria and support resources as you finalise your nomination. And don’t forget regional coordinators are available to answer any questions and support you through the nomination process.
