Southern Gold Coast Industry Leaders Share Insights with SCU
Connecting Southern Gold Coast CEO Josh Martin joined other Southern Gold Coast business leaders last month at a development workshop facilitated by the Southern Cross University School of Business and Tourism for academic staff to hear directly from industry about the capabilities graduates needs to succeed in their careers.
The insights from the delegates will be used to co-design the University’s degrees in business, tourism and IT to better meet the needs of employers.
A number of ideas were developed as a result of the workshop, including specific ways for students to integrate with industry through assessment and coursework.
