State election 2020: Early voting begins on Monday, October 19

Early voting is expected to be the main avenue for voters in the lead-up to the October 31 election day, as of 5pm Thursday, the Electoral Commission of Queensland had received 787,000 postal vote applications, compared to 570,000 at the March local council elections and postal applications closed on Friday afternoon.
