Volunteer of the Year Award 2022

Meet the winner of our Volunteer of the Year Award, Steve Edgar!

This award celebrates a local volunteer who goes above and beyond to support our community.

Steve recently organised the Clubs for a Cause Walking with Mates to raise awareness and funds for mental health, the event raised $42,000!

Steve was also heavily involved in the Essentially Cooly campaign over 2020 and 2021 and joined me in advocating for support for the border community. He regularly volunteers for Orange Sky Australia and is an active patrolling member of Coolangatta Surf Club.
