QAL’s Community Benefit Fund for 2026 is now open!

Queensland Airports Limited has relaunched its Community Benefit Fund (CBF) for 2026.

The fund, now in its eighth year, has provided more than $300,000 in funding to grassroots initiatives across the communities we support in Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales, Townsville North Queensland, Mount Isa and Longreach.

The CBF was established to complement our existing corporate sponsorship portfolio, providing an opportunity for us to work closely with and support small initiatives that benefit our local community and typically fall outside our corporate sponsorship guidelines.

The Fund is aimed at providing support for grassroots initiatives that work in the following focus areas:

  • Environment and sustainability
  • Accessibility and inclusion
  • Health and safety
  • Indigenous Affairs

Grants of up to $5,000 are available per initiative, with the option to request a multi-year deal. Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

If you’re aware of any groups who may be eligible to apply for funding, please let them know that applications are open and further information on eligibility and the application process can be found here.

Applications will remain open for the next six weeks, closing on Friday 10 July.
