The southern Gold Coast is known for its coastal lifestyle, beaches and tourism industry, but we are also a manufacturing powerhouse.

I’ve had the opportunity to visit businesses across Burleigh that are at the cutting edge of innovation, producing everything from sporting equipment and fresh produce to beverages and cosmetics – with many earning recognition on the global stage.

Recently, I welcomed the Hon Dale Last MP, Minister for Manufacturing, to Burleigh to visit local manufacturers including MooGoo Skincare and Coastal Fresh.

It was a great opportunity to showcase the calibre of businesses operating here and give local manufacturers the chance to speak directly with the Minister about what they’re doing, where they’re growing and the challenges they face.
